“Ghostbusters features one the most likable group of friends, so it’s kinda odd to see how terribly unlikable some Ghostbusters fans are,” our own Jack Giroux recently noted. Indeed, some of the response to the Paul Feig-directed feature, led by Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones, has been troubling to say the least, following the debut of the first trailer. However, with Jones responding and Feig defending his cast, it’s hope this sort of talk settles down by release, even if it might be wishful thinking.
We now have a new international trailer for the film, which features more Chris Hemsworth, who takes the assistant role, as well as some concert crowdsurfing and more. To go along with it, someone also did a fan re-edit of the trailer which adds a bit more energy and incorporates the classic theme better. Also starring Charles Dance, Michael Kenneth Williams, and more cameos, check them out below.
