When I read The Playlist‘s report earlier this week that Christopher Nolan‘s Inception may have a work-in-progress screening at Cannes next month I didn’t take it too seriously. Then, a few hours ago, acclaimed film journalist and heavy festival goer Anne Thompson of indieWire tweeted this:
Word is Inception is a real Cannes possibility.
I find it hard to believe Warner Bros. would screen a film based so heavily on secretive marketing and not revealing plot. But, if it turns out to be true I may need to fly to Europe and sneak my way in. For the rest of us, Inception hits theaters July 16th.
Do you think an Inception Cannes premiere is really a possibility?
