I knew I shouldn’t have put it in my April list to see. The comedy starring Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor has been delayed again by Consolidated Pictures Group, LA Times reports. The film premiered at Sundance in 2009 and has since been released in Belgium, France, Russia, Taiwan, Finland, Sweden, Estonia, Lithuania, Kazakhstan, Japan, UK, Philippines, Czech Republic, Iceland and Italy but it’s US release is now “indefinite.”
The movie is from Bad Santa writers Glenn Ficarra and John Requa and “focuses on a love affair between a con man (Carrey) and his cellmate (Ewan McGregor).” I’ve been very excited to see this film since I heard about it, but it looks like I will have to wait even longer.
Do you think we will ever see Phillip Morris in the US?
