Opinions have been pretty divided as to whether the Joss Whedon (who’s already mentioned that he won’t be involved) T.V. show needs a movie reboot, but Warner Bros aren’t going to be put off by that. With a script penned by relative newcomer, Whit Anderson, rumour has it that the people behind the Buffy the Vampire Slayer reboot are actively pursuing Heather Morris, the blond cheerleader from the hit show, Glee, to play the title role. The 23-year-old has experience of dancing and gymnastics so she’s well placed to grab the wooden stake and start slaying.

Morris confirmed to Access Hollywood that she was in the running, “they’re considering me! […] I found out and I almost peed in my pants cause I was so excited!” The news came at the same time as Anderson tweeted a word of caution to the world about casting rumours, “careful what you retweet loves. Inaccuracy can cause lots of unnecessary stress.” However, this comment was later deleted.

What do you think, would Heather Morris make a good Buffy?
