As if one Michael Bay blockbuster project wasn’t enough this summer, Paramount will be debuting another in August, and while it’s not directed by him, it certainly has his stamp. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot is mixes live-action and motion-capture under the direction of Jonathan Liebesman (Battle: Los Angels, Wrath of the Titans), and today a new trailer has landed.
While this one is in Russian, it shows off plenty of action, none of which looks all that interesting. We’ll have the English version when it likely arrives shortly, but in the meantime, check it out below for the film starring Megan Fox, Pete Ploszek, Noel Fisher, Jeremy Howard, Alan Ritchson, Danny Woodburn, William Fichtner, Will Arnett, and Whoopi Goldberg, who briefly pops in this preview.
Update: Check out the official version below, along with a set of posters.
The city needs heroes. Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles opens on August 8th.
