Ain’t It Cool News confirms the duo will be starring the motion-captured animation double films. The first film will be directed by Steven Spielberg and the second by Peter Jackson. The story follows bumbling detectives Thompson and Thomson with Andy Serkis playing Captian Haddock. The films will be based on the Tintin books The Secret of the Unicorn and Red Rackham’s Treasure. Paramount and Sony are splitting the $135 milllion cost. The first film will be out in 2010 with production starting next month.
