Since the release of The Education of Charlie Banks not much has been heard from director Fred Durst. This is probably because his band Limp Bizkit is currently on a world wide tour. But Fred did find the time to sit down with Rotten Tomatoes for an interview. One of the things that was brought up was his next film. “There’s movies I’ve developed and scripts I’ve had written on the side to make, but right now Andy Kevin Walker’s new script Psycho Killer is my next film, and it’s very, very good.” Yes, that right Fred Durst will be directing a Kevin Walker script. You know, the guy who wrote Seven! Durst stated “When I read Psycho Killer, I just felt like, “Oh my God, I could watch this movie over and over again,” because I see it in my mind.” He goes on to compare it to Fight Club.
I am very excited for this news. I have always been a fan of Fred Durst both as a musician and a film maker. I like his style in the Limp Bizkit videos that he directed (which is all of them). I also enjoyed The Education of Charlie Banks very much.
What do you think of Fred Durst latest film update?
