Remember that book The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo that was held so high up in the air on a pedestal as being a significant best seller, and now the movie is coming along in the hollywood universe?
Well, Cinema Blend reports that the star of that original Swedish movie Noomi Rapace, will be joining Robert Downey Jr. in the all-star cast being assembled for the Sherlock Holmes sequel.
Ever since she entered the all too paramount Tinseltown for The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, her first big movie grab was this Sherlock 2. Since there isn’t too much information on the new movie quite yet, no one is quite sure as too who she’ll be playing, but a couple inside sources may have mentioned the words french and gypsie together. That seems like it may be enough to satisfy us for this moment.
She seems like she may be a good fit to lead along side Jude Law in a movie set in 19th century Britain because she, herself is actually a foreigner from the depths of Europe. Even though she is filling the shoes of a big name like Rachel McAdams, she still seems on target to do a better job as a rowdy British woman. I guess we may just have to wait and find out.
Do you think Rapace will do a good job in the new Sherlock Holmes? Are you excited to see her in it?
