The Rock is back in the saddle again, flexing arms and wielding arms simultaneously. This time he’s out to avenge his bro’s death, while a relentless cop (Billy Bob Thornton) and a strange hit man follow close behind, waiting for him to trip up. Directed by George Tillman Jr. (Notorious) and written by the Gayton brothers (Joe and Tony), here’s a new red band trailer of the actioner, due out November 24th (courtesy of Coming Soon):
Looks like the guilty pleasure event of the summer to me! Maggie Grace plays a bad girl and Carla Gugino plays a cop. What more could you ask for? Apparently Tom “Thank God for Inception because people would’ve completely forgotten about me” Berenger is in it too? They name drop the title in the trailer (“He’s as fast as you?” “He’s faster!”) C’mon! That’s more than enough.
It looks like all of these players are about to get stuck between The Rock and a hard place.
