THR has reported that Paramount has given the go-ahead to a pitch regarding a film about online casinos in Costa Rica. The film is set to star Leonardo DiCaprio (Shutter Island, Blood Diamond) and be written by Brian Koppelman and David Levien (Rounders, Oceans Thirteen).
This film sounds interesting. Until more information is given about the rest of the cast and the actual story I really can’t pass judgment one way or the other. But I am sure we will know more in the coming months.
