It seems that being married to Ashton Kutcher for over 6 years finally caught up with Demi Moore; according to her rep, the 49-year-old actress has exited the porn biopic Lovelace, a mere three weeks after joining the cast. [EW]
The actress was set to play women’s rights activist Gloria Steinem, but, due to some medical issues, Moore was forced to make a leave. Just today, in fact, the actress reportedly checked into a facility to help her recover from exhaustion after being taken to a hospital on Monday night. No word on who will end up replacing her, though the mention that this role is only a cameo should make finding another actress reasonably simple.
Lovelace, directed by Rob Epstein and Jerry Friedman, follows the life of Deep Throat star Linda Lovelace (Amanda Seyfried) and her husband Chuck Traynor (Sarsgaard). Sharon Stone, Adam Brody, and Hank Azaria are also in the cast, occupying various historical roles. A release is expected to occur around the end of this year and one can see some new set photos of Amanda Seyfried below via CS.
