About a month ago we reported that Parks and Recreation star Aziz Ansari will be joining Danny McBride in Ruben Fleischer‘s 30 Minutes or Less. Now Variety reports that they will team again for a new comedy, picked up by Mandate Pictures.
The pitch was from Aziz Ansari and Matt Hubbard, who is a writer on 30 Rock. David Gordon Green, Jody Hill and Danny McBride‘s Rough House company will produce. Park and Recreation‘s Harris Wittels will write the screenplay, but no plot details are given yet.
30 Minutes or Less will start production in July.
