We’d have to imagine this has been in the works for some time, but after Paul Feig‘s comedy The Heat was moved out of its April 5th, 2013 slot to a prime summer date, not soon after Fox Searchlight filled in the date with their biggest film of the year. That’s right, Trance, the hypnotism heist film from Danny Boyle has been set in the April 5th slot and we’ve now got a domestic theatrical poster from the studio.
When the film nabbed a late March date in the UK, we feared it may be quite some time before those in the US got to see it, but fortunately, that won’t be the case. Following an art auctioneer (James McAvoy) working with a hypnotherapist (Rosario Dawson) to recover memories of a painting which a thief (Vincent Cassel) intends to steal, the first trailer sold an entertaining, light thriller, so hopefully the final product follows through. Check out that new, scrambled poster below as we await a domestic preview.
Are you looking forward to seeing the film in a few months?
