There has been quite a bit of news from this year’s Comic-Con so we at The Film Stage would like to provide you with Comic-Con round up of what to look forward to. The festival takes place between July 23rd-26th at the San Diego Convention Center. Check out the full roundup below.
For the first time, footage from the new film Kick-Ass directed by Matthew Vaughn (Stardust) will be shown at Comic-Con followed by a panel by Vaughn and some of the cast (TBA) on Thursday, July 23.

Comingsoon.net posted some new promotional posters for James Cameron’s new 3D epic Avatar. Look for a trailer or some footage to be shown since they confirmed there will be a 3D presentation in the theater.
MTV Movies Blog announced that a few select scenes from the new film Pandorum will premiere at Comic-Con on July 23.
Firstshowing announced that Mike Judge will be at Comic-Con along with Jason Bateman, Mila Kunis and Kristen Wiig to promote their new film Extract. Judge will be screening some footage from the film. A date has yet to be confirmed.
They also confirmed that there will be a screening for Mystery Men on Thursday, July 23rd at 8PM at the Horton Plaza theaters.

Screenrant confirmed that the first trailer to The Boondock Saints sequel titled Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day will be shown.
