Last year Danny Boyle tackled the tough subject of losing an arm with 127 Hours. This year, Sean McNamara takes a turn with the story of surfer Bethany Hamilton, who lost her arm in a shark attack. The first teaser for Soul Surfer has arrived, and unfortunately it doesn’t look too strong and includes no hint at a Jaws-like creature. This also marks the debut of American Idol star Carrie Underwood. She is joined by Dennis Quaid, Helen Hunt, AnnaSophia Robb, Lorraine Nicholson, Kevin Sorbo, and Jeremy Sumpter. Check it out below.
