With the first major chunk of footage premiering in just a few weeks time, J.J. Abrams‘ follow-up to his reinvention of Star Trek will finally be unearthed, at least partially. As a director who is known to keeps things close to the chest for better or worse, it’s always a revelation when we get something substantial regarding one of his projects and tonight we have a vague idea where Star Trek Into Darkness will head, as Paramount has revealed the first official synopsis. Most of it is quite general and while no exact villain is named, he will be a “one man weapon of mass destruction.” Check out the first synopsis below.
