According to The Hollywood Reporter, the upcoming film from CBS, Beastly has been pushed back to March 18, 2011.

Speculation leads us to believe that the delay was caused by Universal placing the upcoming Charlie St. Cloud on the same day as Beastly‘s previous release of July 30th, 2010. Beastly ended up with a March 2011 date because there simply weren’t many other spots open. The summer is packed with blockbusters that it wouldn’t be able to compete with and the same can be said for the fall and winter season. March seems like a logical choice.
When asked about the delay, Steve Friedlander of CBS Films said “There wasn’t much left in the summer that we could move it to, we didn’t want to go in fall, and the holidays are for four-quadrant movies, so we figured if we went to March, we’d have some school breaks happening around that time.”

Beastly stars Vanessa Hudgens and Alex Pettyfer and is a romantic fantasy film. It revolves around a young teenager who is transformed into a beast and has to find his true love.
