The long awaited Arrested Development movie adaptation has been delayed, yet again. Jason Bateman updated MTV on the progress of the project [via Playlist].

The delay is in response to the upcoming Will Arnett and Mitch Hurtwitz sitcom Wilde Kingdom. Producers want to wait to see how that show does before proceeding with the movie.

Bateman is “hoping for the end of the year” to have this adaptation made.

Let’s be reasonable, this movie is never happening. Even if it does, with this much unnecessary build-up, it has flop written all over it.

Will this movie get made? Do you care anymore?
