Tim Burton‘s record setter Alice In Wonderland held the top spot at the box office for the third straight week, pulling in an additional $34.5 million dollars domestically. It edged out two solid debut performances in the process of bringing its total earnings to $265.8 million.

Diary of Wimpy Kid brought in $21.8 million in its opening weekend, covering its $15 million budget and then some. It finished just ahead of the romantic comedy The Bounty Hunter which took $21 million.

Another debut fell flat as Repo Men finished fourth at the box office, grossing a mere $6.1 million.

Elsewhere, Avatar continued to bring in money in its 14th week, adding another $4 million to its already staggering total. It is has now brought in nearly $737 million domestically.
