As we celebrate Halloween today, the theatrical offerings are fairly weak when it comes to the horror genre, but next month we have some promising options. There’s The Babadook (our review) as well as another festival hit, Kevin Kolsch and Dennis Widmyer‘s Starry Eyes, which premiered at SXSW earlier this year to major acclaim and will arrive shortly.
The first trailer has now landed which reveals the story of an aspiring actress in Hollywood that is desperate to land a gig. The one she does secure will change the way she is forever. This preview certainly hits the right unsettling tone and we’re looking forward to checking it out in a few weeks. Check out a pair of posters (one a winner at SXSW) and the trailer below for the film starring Alexandra Essoe, Amanda Fuller, Noah Segan, Fabianne Therese, Shane Coffey, Natalie Castillo, Pat Healy, Nick Simmons, and Louis J. Dezseran.
