After his overtly earnest drama The Hollars, John Krasinski seems to have taken a few notes from the Blumhouse method for his next directorial effort. A Quiet Place, produced by Michael Bay, is a supernatural thriller following a family who is terrorized by some sort of outside force, but not much else is known about the plot.
The first trailer has now landed, which reveals what looks to be a dialogue-free film. Starring Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Noah Jupe and Wonderstruck‘s Millicent Simmonds, I’m looking forward to The Office star having a bit more fun with a genre effort, so hopefully he can pull of the restrictions he’s set for himself.
Check out the trailer below ahead of a spring release via Paramount.
A Quiet Place opens on April 6, 2018.
