This all seems a little hairy, so keep that salt grain handy, but this is too interesting to ignore.
Below are leaked plot points from the Damon Lindelof-written draft of Ridley Scott’s Alien prequel, courtesy of an “Australian outlet.” Hmmm.
Here it is below (via /Film):
– The Lindelof script “bares little to no similarity to the previous [Alien] chapters,” i.e. the Jon Spaihts draft, among others.
– The new script concerns story follows Growers, a group of aliens capable of adapting to different environments/creating new environments. There’s apparently a homosexual sequence between two male human thanks to the Growers’ mind control capabilities. Color me curious.
– The alien we know as the alien is a tool used by the terraforming aliens, who evolves into the title character of the Scott film from 30 years ago.
– A ship of humans eventually encounters this group of Growers holding human slaves. Then, presumably, shit gets real.
Sounds intriguing. It’ll be even more intriguing if it’s at all true.
